On Saturday night/Sunday morning Beyoncé released her highly anticipated visual album Lemonade on HBO and subsequently Tidal, as expected the Internet broke due to the sheer awesomeness of what is said to be her best work to date.
Lemonade is no ordinary music video, it’s an almost hour long collection which covers several emotional themes: Intuition, Denial, Anger, Apathy, Emptiness, Accountability, Reformation, Forgiveness, Resurrection, Hope, and Redemption.
Aside the story line we can’t get enough of the fashion which was just as fierce & artistic as the lyrics and storyline. Bey rocks everything from Roberto Cavalli to Yeezy Season 2 and she also shows love for African print in 3 videos – Sorry, Daddy Lessons & Forward.
Nigerian designer, Maki Oh also scores a major placement in the Lemonade video and dressed Beyonce and Amandla Stenberg.
