17-year- old, Ogechukwu, who’s 6 months pregnant, was arrested last week Thursday, with five others, by her employer, for stealing in Delta State.
Others secured their bail by paying huge sum but Ogechukwu was denied bail by the police for failing to provide N15,000.
Yesterday, at about 9:45pm, she was released to us on bail, following the intervention of Prince Gwamnishu Harrison, the founder of Behind Bars Initiative, who has now been informed that Ogechukwu was drugged and raped by her sister’s boyfriend in Lagos.
Harrison has vowed to get the man arrested and get justice for Ogechukwu….
