Musician, YBNL Boss, Olamide has finally apologized to the Headies and asked for forgiveness after his meltdown and blasting Don Jazzy on stage.
He has apologized to the man he calls a father figure, Ayo Animashaun, founder of HipTV and The Headies.
The year kicked off to a petty start on January 1st when Olamide dragged Don Jazzy at the Headies Awards and Twitter over the Next Rated Award which he felt his artiste Lil Kesh should have won.
The award went to Mavin artiste Reekado Banks who many felt hadn’t racked up as many hits as Lil Kesh…
Now 6 months after Olamide is finally apologizing to the awards show organizers. He posted a video apology where he said,
We didn’t plan to discredit the headies, not to disrespect or mess with their business and all .. Oshey headies God bless ur business mr Ayo ?? .. We love y’all @officialhiptv @ayoanimashaun .. Life is too short not to let go of the past .. Moving on to greater things . Spread love ?? #YBNL
