A Rhode Island man has been indicated on multiple charges after alledgly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl while pretending to be an Uber driver.
36-year-old Francis Scott, is accused of sexually assaulting four female victims between November 2015 and February 2017 according to prosecutors.
Providence police report that the most recent assault happened February 14th after a teenager victim was dropped off at school.
According to the police, the victim said they encountered Scott outside of a convenience store. Scott pretended to be an Uber driver and offered the victim a free ride. Authorities also report that Scott was not the owner of the vehicle he was driving.
Scott was indicted Friday by a grand jury on charges of kidnapping, second-degree sexual assault and other offences.
