6 Atlanta Students Killed In Car Accident On Monday In North Fulton And South Fulton

Two separate car accidents in the metro-Atlanta have claimed the lives of six students on Monday Afternoon. The first accident occurred in South Fulton around 1:15pm. Five students from the Lincoln Navigator collided with a semi tractor trailer at the Burner Rd./Ridge Rd. intersection with Campbellton -Fairburn Rd.

The police identified four teenage boys who were killed instantly in the car accident and a teenage girl that was pulled from the backseat of the SUV by police and  taken to the  hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the Navigator ran a light at the intersection just as the truck was entering the intersection.

In North Fulton,  a second accident occurred around 4:00pm about an hour away from the first deadly wreck.
