Nelly was recently accused of raping a young lady on his tour bus. The woman who claimed that Nelly allegedly sexually assaulted her, recently decided to drop the case and refused to testify against him.
Although the accuser no longer wants any involvement, the case is reportedly still open.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources in Washington State revealed Auburn Police Department is still gathering evidence and is planning to present the case to the prosecutor’s office.

Nelly’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, reportedly told TMZ that he is confident the case will end based on the evidence, and said, “I would expect the police to do their due diligence.”
Nelly’s accuser reportedly decided not to testify out of fear of not being able to win against him. The woman’s lawyer said, “Who will believe her. People are saying horrible things already. She cannot handle this. She is about to break.”
