Brenda Edwards is completely devastated, as she pays tribute to her late son Jamal Edwards,
the founded of the online urban music platform SB.TV.

Jamal Edwards, Brenda Edward’s son passed away at the age of 31, and she has gone to pay tribute to him.
Brenda’s son was credited with helping in launching the careers of stars like Jessie J and Dave. He was her eldest son out of her two children.
Brenda Edwards penned down a statement and shared it with Good Morning Britain today.
“It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness. Myself, his sister Tanish and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the center of our world,” She added; “As we come to terms with his passing, we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support.
She continues by saying, “Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”
Denise Welch, Brenda’s co-host was part of hundreds to mourn Jamal’s passing on on Sunday, which he wrote on Twitter: “My heart aches for my friend Brenda. I can’t bear it. Jamal Edwards was a wonderful son and brother.”
Jamal Edwards was also an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a youth charity run by the Prince of Wales which helps young people set up their own companies.
On Sunday night, Labour MP Zarah Sultana paid tribute to Jamal’s legacy and all that he accomplished throughout his life.
