Cousins ‘Mekael Kennedy & D’Andre Kennedy’ Murdered 60-Year-Old Deliveryman, Then Ate His Pizza

Cousins robbed and killed a pizza deliveryman and then ate the pizza.

According to the criminal complaint, on Monday September 11, Mekael Kennedy, 17, and his cousin D’Andre Kennedy, 25, robbed and shot the pizza delivery man, when he arrived at their apartment on 76th & Brown Deer Road. They then took the delivered pizza into the apartment and ate it, according to TMJ4.

Both cousins were charged with the murder of 60-year-old Clarence Taper.

Clarence Taper

Taper, who worked for Buddy’s Pizza and Steak, delivered a pizza to the cousins’ apartment, only to be met by Mekael, wearing a hockey mask and allegedly pointing D’Andre’s gun at Taper.

The cousins reportedly demanded Taper’s money, at which point the gun went off. However, Mekael reportedly told police that he was not sure how the gun went off, because he had the safety on.

Mekael claimed that he fired at Taper because Taper lunged at him, and D’Andre claimed that Taper tried to take the hockey mask off of Mekael’s face.

Mekael, who was tried as an adult, is facing charges of armed robbery and murder, which could land him in prison for up to 95 years. D’Andre has been charged with harboring a felon and obstructing an officer.

One of Taper’s customers, Sheryl Cash said Taper went out of his way to help the older residents who live there.

“The man, Mr. Clarence, ever since I have been ordering from them he always delivered my food. He would stand there and talk with you. He was just real nice and kind. And he didn’t have to come to your door, but he would come to your door.” “It was senseless.” Cash said.

Police said on September 15, Mekael Kennedy’s girlfriend placed an order to Buddy’s Pizza and Steak, where taper delivered from. Mekael Kennedy took his cousin, D’Andre Kennedy’s gun, put on a hockey mask and demanded Taper’s money. Mekael Kennedy told police he had his safety on and didn’t know why the gun went off.

According to the criminal complaint, Mekael Kennedy told the police the driver lunged at him and he didn’t know why the gun went off because he thought the safety was on.

But D’Andre Kennedy said his cousin shot Taper because he tried to take his mask off.

When D’andre Kennedy found out, he cleaned the gun and threw the bullets away.

Mekeal Kennedy also admitted to police that he robbed a Papa John’s delivery driver a few days earlier, but did not hurt him because he didn’t fight back.

The cousin’s apartment was located right next to the front door of the apartment building… Taper was also a husband and a grandfather.

Michael Kennedy is facing 95-years in prison over a $13 pizza.

D’Andre was charged with harboring a felon and obstructing an officer and could face four years behind bars.
