Ex-NHL player Ray Emery was arrested last month for allegedly threatening and putting his hands on his then-fiancée Keshia Chante in an incident that went down in 2016.
Some of you guys may remember Keshia Chante from her short run on BET’s 106 & Park.
According to TMZ, Keshia went to police to get a restraining order against the ex NHL player and even showed cops receipts that he abused her a couple of times from July’ 16 to Sept ’16. The couple dated for 7 years and were engaged up until this summer when she decided to call it off.
Cops arrested Emery on Sept. 18 for assault with a weapon and uttering a threat. He posted bail and is expected back in court later on this month.
