Governor Ron DeSantis, told some high school students to remove their mask on Wednesday. There was a video that captured this and has gone viral.
According to WFLA-TV report, Governor Ron DeSantis met with the high school students at University of South Florida recently.
While starting his speech, the governor approached a group of young boys standing on stage, he ordered them to remove their face masks. He looked angry though.
In his words, “You do not have to wear those masks, I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we’ve gotta stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.”.
But wait o, shouldn’t it be that the Governor should encourage wearing nose mask? so why is he discouraging it?
We are aware that alot of people have stopped wearing their mask but it doesn’t stop or affect those who still choose to put it on.

A mom who is a mother to one of the boys, was so outraged that she blasted Desantis in an interview with WFLA-TV.
She claimed that her son was one of the boys who immediately removed his mask after DeSantis’ rant.
In her words she said, “I’m responsible for him, and I told him to wear that mask,” Although “I took mine off.”
She was asked “Did you feel pressure by the governor to do that?” And her response was “A little.”
She went on to say that she’s very upset and it was “shocking” for Gov. DeSantis to ask her son & the other high school students to take off their masks.
