Since Toke Makinwa brought out her book, a lot of people have either criticised her or commended her speaking about her relationship with Maje Ayida. Rapper and Choc City boss MI Abaga took to Twitter to commend the media personality on her book – On Becoming. He also used the opportunity to not only call out those who had victim shamed her but to admit to his own infidelity in relationships, while asking men to behave better.
