Jerry Harris, Cheer star has pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography case.
According to TMZ, it happened that Jerry Harris was under investigations by the FBI for allegedly soliciting minors for sex in May 2019. After the investigation, he was arrested in September 2020.
In December 2020, the 22-year-old cheer star was indicted on charges alleging misconduct in Illinois, Florida and Texas. Jerry Harris was also accused of trying to persuade a minor to engage in oral sex at different cheerleading events, he also solicited from another for sex.
Harris has reportedly admitted to having five to 10 victims in all. His alleged victims gave the authorities screenshots of exchanges with him on social media and text messages. To all of these, two of the alleged victims have filed a civil lawsuit.
Ultimately, Jerry Harris was charged with producing child pornography, and he’s still dealing with a civil lawsuit from the two alleged victims.
In a statement, Jerry Harris’s lawyers said that he wanted to “take responsibility for his actions and publicly convey his remorse for the harm he has caused the victims.”
He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago, where he has been since the September 2020 arrest.
I believe he would get all the solution he needs there. So sad.
