Joevan Joseph Is Arrested & Charged With First Degree Murder Of Slain Mother, Makeva Jenkins

Finally, an arrest has been made, in the murder of slain mother, Makeva Jenkins -West Palm Beach, Florida.
And that arrest is not her husband, Euri, who the internet initially suspected of her murder.
In an unexpected plot twit, 19-year-old Joevan Joseph was arrested this morning, in the slaying of Jenkins, who was killed in late June by a masked man who burst into her Boynton Beach-area home just hours after she made a motivational post, celebrating her financial success on Facebook.

“I’m in awe of how far I’ve come,” the post read. “Fast forward to now: We overcame being homeless in 2013/2014 to reaching my six figure mark in 2015 to now making multi six figures. No matter what the road looked like, I followed my heart and stuck with it growing my business. I’m saying this to say, anyone can do it. It takes determination and consistency.”

Joevan Joseph is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Jenkins, 33, who had grown from homelessness to financial success in just two years.
Joevan Joseph, 19, said, “I didn’t do it,” as PBSO deputies transported him to a sheriff’s vehicle at the jail Saturday afternoon.

Joseph’s first court appearance is scheduled for Sunday in West Palm Beach.
Jenkins was a married mother of three children. She married Euri Jenkins in 2011, according to court records. She went to Glades Central High, and studied at Barry University and the University of South Florida.
The masked man knocked at the door of her home on Plumbago Place near Santaluces High School, just west of Boynton Beach. He walked in, and was met by the people inside, who, according to Jenkins’ grandmother, included Jenkins’ husband, brother and her two young children. Her oldest daughter, 13, was in Tampa with her father, according to the grandmother.

A fight broke out, and the man fatally shot Jenkins. She was rushed to a hospital where she died.
Sheriff’s authorities stayed quiet about the investigation, not commenting on a motive or suspect after the attack.
The arrest comes after, Sheriff’s authorities seized phones, a Comcast bill and envelopes from the home less than a week after Jenkins was killed. Those records indicate the premise was “occupied by or under the control of” Jenkins’ husband, Euri.
That’s all we have for now. We don’t know if the husband Euri, is completely in the clear yet. Nor do we know if more arrests are coming.
