Marcus Scribner to Host 2022 NAACP Image Awards

Marcus Scribner is an award-winning actor, best known for his breakout role as “Junior” on the Kenya Barris-created ABC hit sitcom black-ish.

During the 47th NAACP Image Awards, he got nominated alongside his cast members for the hit series black-ish. He also took home the “Outstanding Performance by a Youth” trophy for his role on the award-winning show.

In 2019, Marcus Scribner won NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series”.

Marcus Scribner is adamant about giving back and an ambassador for Defend our Future (a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to empowering young people of all political persuasions who are interested in advancing environmental justice, clean energy, and climate solutions that grow the economy and protect the world for future generations.)

In an interview with 1883 Magazine, Scribner opened up about his interest in the combat sport. Marcus Scribner has also made cameos on other hit shows, including the popular drama series Castle, New Girl, and American Dad.

Although he is not new to the NAACP Image Awards stage, Marcus Scribner will be presenting at the 53rd NAACP Image Awards where outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature will be honored.

The 53rd NAACP Image Awards will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 8/9c.
