South African Teacher ‘Kate Chiloane’ Killed By Her Husband In Front Of Entire Primary School Class

A Mpumalanga primary school teacher was fatally shot in full view of pupils on Monday. Kate Chiloane, 30, was shot by her husband, Vusi Mdluli, who later shot himself at their home.

The incident occurred at Sedibasathutho primary school near Bushbuckridge.

Spokesperson for Mpumalanga department of education, Jasper Zwane, said the husband entered the Grade Two class under the pretence that he was fetching something from his wife.

“He then shot her but she managed to get away and tried running to the staff-room but he followed her and shot her again outside where she died,” said Zwane.

He said the husband then left for the couple’s house, which is not far from the school, where he also killed himself.

  1. The case of spouses killing each other is becoming rampant. Youths should review the way and manner they get involved in intimate relationship. Honestly the trend is becoming alarming and parents are getting apprehensive with what become of their children in relationships they most likely don’t know much about.
Youths should no the pupose of marriage, involve their parents of their plan to marry that lady or that man early in their relationship, not rush into marrying someone you just met within a couple of months, above all should pray earnestly about the person they want to get married to.
