T-Pain Sues Young Money for Unpaid Royalties

4C41B539-9285-4358-B75D-8240542286F4Things might be getting far heated than expected between T-Pain and Young Money as TMZ reports that the former Konvict Music star  has dragged Young Money to court over unpaid royalties on Lil Wayne’s “The Carter III” and “The Carter IV” albums respectively.

According to the reports, T-Pain claims he is being owed $500,000 for producing and featuring in Wayne’s “Got Money” track off the album but is yet to receive any money from it.

In addition, T-Pain claims in the lawsuit which was filed through the singer’s music company, Nappy Boy Productions, an artiste under his label also produced a song in Wayne’s “The Carter IV” album and was never compensated.

Documents released by the singer revealed that a deal was made between his team and Young Money for him to be paid over a million dollars and till date, he is yet to receive any form of payment from Young Money despite the 2008 album selling over 3 million dollars in the US alone.
