Tasha K has said that she doesn’t have money to pay Cardi B after judge ordered her to pay the rapper $3.8 Million for defamation.
The American blogger, is known for posting videos on her YouTube account, “Unwine with Tasha K”. She was found liable for defamation, and two other type of wrongdoing related to the YouTube videos she posted about Cardi B.
This happened in 2019. Cardi B who is without chills, sued Tasha K, over the YouTube videos she had posted which included shocking claims about the rapper.
Some of the allegations Tash K made in her videos claim that “Cardi B fed herself with beer bottles on fing stripper stages”. Some part of the video claimed she had contracted herpes and was a prostitute, according to Billboard.
In January 10, 2022, The case went to trial and lasted two weeks. During the trial, Cardi B said on the stand that, she felt “suicidal” from the videos. She also said that “only an evil person could do that s***.”
The judge found Tasha K liable for defamation as well as invasion of privacy through portrayal in a false light. Cardi B was awarded $1.25million in damages. Winner right?
On Tuesday, January 25, Cardi was awarded an additional $2.8million by the jury according to a filed verdict. Now, Tasha has made it clear that she doesn’t have over $3 million to pay Cardi.
This is what “watch your mouth”, means. When talking with Kendall Kyndall and Kendra G of Social Society, Tasha K was asked about paying Cardi B the $3.8 million.
Kendra G asked: “Do you even have that amount of money to pay in this lawsuit? Is Tasha K worth that amount of money to pay that.”
The mother of two replied, “I ain’t got it.” As the hosts laugh, she added: “Listen I ain’t got it. I ain’t got it. Don’t ask me for no money. I ain’t got it.”
