UPDATE: New York Terror Truck Driver, Sayfullo Saipov, Left Notes And Flags in Truck. Pledges Allegiance to ISIS

Police insiders say Uzbek man, Sayfullo Saipov, 29, is the terrorist who killed civilians yesterday Tuesday.

Eight people are dead and 15 people now injured after he drove down a bike path on Houston Street mowing pedestrians, cyclists and runners.

One of the two kids in the school bus that he crashed into is in a critical condition.

Saipov immigrated to the US in 2010 and has lived in Ohio and Florida and currently stays in New Jersey. He has two trucking companies registered under his name in Ohio and also worked as an Uber driver.

The two trucking companies registered are Sayf Motors Inc registered in Hamilton County from May 2011 and located in Cincinnati  and Bright Auto LLC registered in Cuyahoga Falls from August 2013 and located in another apartment.

Uber told The New York Post on Tuesday night: “We are horrified by this senseless of violence.  Our hearts are with the victims and their families.  We have reached out to law enforcement to provide our full assistance “.

The company said he passed a background check and added that he has been banned from the app.

Kobiljon Matkarov,  37, of Miamisburg,  Ohio said that he met Saipov five years ago and they bonded over their shared Uzbek heritage.  He says Saipov is very friendly and good with children and that his children love him but added that when one of his children wanted to take picture with him,  he refused saying he doesn’t like it.

Among those killed were five Argentinians in New York for a class of 1987 school reunion,  according to Argentine Government.  They are named Ariel Erlij, Herman Diego Mendoza,  Diego Enrique Angelini,  Alejandro Damian Pagnucco and Herman Ferruchi.  Three other Belgians were among the wounded.

ISIS flags and notes pledging his allegiance were found in the truck he used. He was shot by hero NYPD officer,  Ryan Nash,  28, who was on duty closed to where the incident happened.

Police are currently investigating a Home Depot in Passaic where Saipov is believed to have rented the truck.
